Alien Rug - Cloudy Sky Watercolor Trio

Alien Rug - Cloudy Sky Watercolor Trio offers a watercolour version of the trio of Aliens under a cloudy sky, for a Toy Story rug with a softer look than classic prints. The cartoon style remains identifiable, carried by more muted colors. The result evokes an almost peaceful scene, far from the usual agitation of the pincers. This Toy Story Alien rug relies on the softness of the rendering to stand out from the rest of the range.

The watercolor softens the usual pincer scene, giving the trio of Aliens an almost dreamlike rendering under a cloudy sky. The cartoon style remains very present, but the technique chosen brings a softness that is rarely found on the character's merchandise.

The rug keeps the same base as the rest of the collection: nylon, non-slip base and hand-knotted weave, for a piece that is both aesthetic and designed for regular use.

This more painterly approach is rarely found on Toy Story rugs, with most prints preferring bold colors over more subtle gradients.

The watercolor gives the trio an almost childlike texture, as if the scene had been hand-painted rather than printed. A result that suits interiors that rely on softness rather than bold colors.

This softer version goes easily with a decoration that already plays on pastel shades, without ever betraying the identity of the trio. A rug that has as much its place in a child's room as in a reading corner designed for adults nostalgic for the film.
