Alien boxer shorts - Repeat duo navy blue background

Alien boxer shorts - Repeat duo navy blue background prints two little green men in a repeated pattern on a deep navy blue background, for an everyday piece that slips a discreet nod to the Toy Story universe under the outer garments. The choice of the duo rather than the usual trio gives a different rhythm to the repetition, more visually constricted, without denying the collective identity that characterizes these characters.

The Aliens occupy a special place in the Toy Story universe: simple extras in the first film, stuck in their claw machine on the Pizza Planet, they gradually gain in importance until they become full-fledged inhabitants of Bonnie's room. However, their appearance remains strictly identical from one individual to another, a design choice that has allowed Pixar to multiply them infinitely without ever having to differentiate them from each other. This repeated pattern on a navy blue background is directly in line with this logic of duplication, transforming an everyday garment into a small discreet tribute to this running gag that runs through the entire saga. It is difficult to imagine a better symbol for a character defined precisely by the multiplication of his own image than to find him thus infinitely declined on a fabric.

Worn on a daily basis, these boxer shorts allow fans to show their attachment to the saga even in the most intimate rooms of their wardrobe, far from the more visible t-shirts or accessories. The navy blue background offers a sharp contrast with the green of the characters, ensuring a good readability of the motif without falling into an overly busy rendering. It's a practical option to complete an already well-stocked collection of Alien products, or to slip a touch of humor into a much more classic drawer, without this wink being visible once dressed.
