Rex Poster - Solo Watercolor Portrait

Rex Poster - Solo Watercolor Portrait highlights the most endearing dinosaur in Toy Story in a gentle portrait. This Toy Story Rex poster treats the character in watercolor, far from the usual bold colors, for a more composed rendering than a simple image taken from the film. A choice that suits a child's room as well as a nostalgic corner dedicated to Pixar, without ever losing the recognizable expression of Rex, between perpetual worry and touching goodwill.

Rex has never managed to be truly terrifying, and that's precisely what makes him so endearing in Toy Story: beneath his big teeth lies an anxious toy, always ready to doubt himself at the worst moment, often more concerned with other people's opinions than with his own dinosaur build. The watercolour treatment of this portrait accentuates this softness, by softening the contours of a character who, on paper, should nevertheless impress. The result is more reminiscent of a book illustration than a movie poster, which is a nice change from the more classic posters, while keeping enough detail to immediately recognize the character.

Printed on canvas canvas with water-resistant ink, this poster keeps its colors without making them garish, an important point for such a soft portrait. Delivered unframed, it can be easily installed in any room, on its own or paired with other Toy Story portraits to create a small wall dedicated to the characters. A simple way to pay tribute to this dinosaur more clumsy than threatening, and who ended up conquering fans much more surely than a real T-Rex would have been able to do.
