Blind Box Rex - 30th Anniversary Edition Little Horses Game slips the most anxious dinosaur in Andy's room into a surprise box designed for the 30th anniversary of the saga. Rather than taking a scene from the film, this reference diverts a classic of family board games, the game of little horses, with its round pawns and its board with colored squares, to install Rex in his own way. An offbeat way to celebrate this anniversary, between movie memories and board game nights.
⭐ Rex advances his pawns in the game of the little horses
The principle of the game of little horses, advancing your pawn over the dice and risking being sent back to square one at any time, corresponds surprisingly well to Rex's personality, always convinced that the worst is about to happen. This 52TOYS Blind Box, listed on the catalog side under the "REX" variant, places the tyrannosaurus rex in this stage universe rather than in a child's room setting, with his impressive teeth and his still unsure look.
This reference belongs to the 30th anniversary range of Toy Story, a series that likes to reinvent characters in playful and collectible formats rather than just reproducing their usual poses. The Blind Box format keeps a part of surprise until the opening of the box, in the spirit of this type of collectible figurine: you know the announced character, but not necessarily all the details of his staging before unpacking.
Rex remains one of the most endearing toys in Andy's room precisely because he never hides his doubts, a discrepancy between his predatory size and his total lack of confidence that works particularly well once transposed to the scale of a board game pawn. The original packaging is kept for this collector's figurine, without any rarity or particular function being guaranteed beyond the mintage principle specific to the Blind Box format.
